I have been riding for over 35 years.Yeh, I know it is getting a bit on. Tinkering with bikes from a very young age, painting my Hotfoot BMX with a brush and ceiling white paint. It looked great except, for the brush marks, but, hey it was one of the very first white Bmx bikes people had ever seen.
Always being mechanically minded I did a fitter and turner apprenticeship and became an engine reconditioner. I continued with this until some one commented on how much I stunk on diesel. So I thought, why not look for a cushy office job in internal sales. Then I tried this cushy job but then I thought this is not me.
I had to get back on the tools. After coming back from a riding trip in New Zealand I started at a local bike shop. Many customers commented on the great job I did for them and even got an impressive rap from a prominent bike positioner on my bike set ups. So someone suggested "open your own business".
So here I am, I have started my own business.
Outside of servicing bikes, I also attend a Cycling Boot Camp called Bright Boot Camp which is held in Bright, Victoria. I am the camp mechanic. I run bicycle maintenance course for all the riders to learn how to take care of their bikes.I do all the servicing and repairs for the riders too. This is something I can do for any other organised cycling events so call me..
Let me give you all my experience, expertise and knowledge to help you get the best from your bike and riding. "Live to ride"
